Established in 1967 on traditional Blackfoot territory, the university offers over 150 undergraduate and 70 graduate programs across diverse fields, including Arts & Science, Education, Fine Arts, Health Sciences, and Business. With campuses in Lethbridge and Calgary, uLethbridge attracts more than 8,900 students annually, fostering a vibrant and inclusive academic community. The Lethbridge campus, overlooking the Oldman River, features iconic architecture by Arthur Erickson and state-of-the-art facilities like the Science Commons, Canada’s most advanced science education and research building. The University is located on traditional Blackfoot Confederacy territory. We honour the Blackfoot people and their traditional ways of knowing in caring for this land, as well as all Indigenous Peoples who have helped shape and continue to strengthen our University community.
